This is my communications company. Hire me to plan your special event, organize a “green tour” for your conference or promote your organization. I favour groups who are trying to save the world or at least their own neighbourhood.
I launched the SalmonTrain for a group called the Rivershed Society of BC – where we wrapped a SkyTrain (our above ground subway system) inside and out in a colourful salmon mural with the headline: Take the Train. Save a Salmon. I handled all the media to save a blueberry farm from being paved by some of the very folks I was working with on the SalmonTrain project. We got a lot of media, but lost the fight. I write about that in my new book.
Mike with the Bike Tree
I’ve also created a unique piece of functional art called the Bike Tree, which is part sculpture and part bike rack. The first one will be sited at Science World in Vancouver.
